Setting itself up as a developer of a new type of F2P game - something it labels 'view-to-play' - Finnish studio Futureplay has announced its first game.

As the name suggests, Farm Away! is a super casual farming swiper in which you tap and swipe to cultivate animals, crops and sell at market them to generate virtual riches.

Players can also co-opt their friends as hired hands.

Fast and simple

"We see great potential in Farm Away! and look forward to seeing how this new type of 'view-to-play' game play will be received by players," said Futureplay's CEO Jami Laes.

"We believe this genre of fast and simple idle games is now on the rise and will become even more popular in the future."

Underpinning the gameplay, is the 'view-to-play' model, which will tightly integrate the new lucrative forms of mobile advertising to reward players for interacting with ads.

Farm Away! is launching on the App Store globally on 5 November.
