Vivid launches publishing business for midcore F2P games with strong PVP features

Polish developer Vivid Games is adding publishing to its business.

It's announced the launch of Vivid Games Publishing, which it says will highlight the best F2P games from the most gifted midcore developers worldwide.

A key part of the move will see developers gain access to Vivid's internal tools, covering cross-platform multiplayer and content delivery, as well as its experience in terms of monetisation and analytics.

There will also be the opportunity to gain financial support.

Vivid is currently working on its F2P game Real Boxing 2: Creed, a tie-in for the forthcoming Rocky film Creed, due mid-November.

"Moving into publishing is the next natural step for us to take," said Vivid Games' CEO, Remigiusz Koscielny.

"Our mission is to bring the best free-to-play mobile games targeted at the mid-core audience, which also ideally have a strong emphasis on competitive play.

"We provide only first-class high-quality support – the same we give to our own games. That is why we will be launching just a few carefully hand-picked titles a year."

The first games to be published under the program are planned to launch in 2016.
