The Search For A Star & Rising Star student competitions are back for 2016, now open to both games coders and games artists.

Take part in one of the biggest industry-supported game dev competitions in the UK, showcasing your work in front of leading studios and getting a boost towards a career in games.

Fast track

In 2015, 80% of students who qualified for the second round were able to get a games industry job on graduation.

The competitions have a proven track record of improving the employability of those who enter, with the second stage development project even adding a published product to your portfolio.

The tests and challenges are tough, designed by industry professionals to mirror actual studio hiring processes, testing your talents while honing and developing your existing skills.
