Clashing again: Apple to hold WWDC 2016 the same week as E3

Apple has announced that it will be hosting its 27th Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco on 13-17 June 2016.

The first day's events, including the keynote speech from Philip Schiller, senior VP of Worldwide Marketing at Apple, will take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, with the rest of the conference taking place at Moscone West.

“With four innovative operating systems and a new, intuitive programming language powering over 1 billion devices worldwide, there has never been a more exciting time to bring our developer community together,” said Schiller.

Apps for everyone

“WWDC 2016 is going to be a landmark event for developers who are coding in Swift, and building apps and products for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS."

The event once again clashes with E3, which runs 14-16 June in Los Angeles.

You can apply for a ticket to WWDC over on the official website.
