Google could be set to release its Daydream VR platform in a matter of weeks.
A report on Bloomberg says that Google has been investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into VR games and YouTubers to help promote the platform when it launches.
Timely
It would seem to make sense, as it coincides with Google's roll out the latest version of its Android OS, Nougat, which includes features that allow for improved graphics via the Vulkan API and Daydream support.
Its release could line up nicely with Tommy Palm's keynote at our Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2016 event, which will focus on Daydream and the future of VR.
