Streamlined analytics tool Simpl Analytics has released its extension for game development tool Stencyl.

The extension allows developers to implement Simpl Analytics' free tool into their games built with Stencyl and give them access to analytics with little additional tweaking.

Simpl Analytics is a tool specifically designed for non-technical developers. The tool has already found some success with Buildbox developers.

Developers gain access to data such as retention rates, total users, new users, DAUs and MAUs. Simpl Analytics also aims to add more features in future based on developer feedback.

"We want to educate by simplifying analytics, and through a step-by-step approach our goal is to give an improved understanding of analytics," said Sebastian Lindén, co-founder Simpl Analytics.

"I think analytics in general has been too focused on metrics that everyone should know about, without explaining why it is good to know about certain metrics over others, and how to improve your game based on analytics."

The Simpl Analytics tool is free to use. Developers looking to implement it in their games can request an invite to use the tool on the Simpl Analytics website.
