GungHo partners with Toy Soldiers developer Signal Studios on upcoming AAA mobile game

GungHo Online Entertainment America has partnered with Signal Studios to develop and release a new AAA mobile game.

Signal Studios is best known as the developer behind console game series Toy Soldiers. It has released one mobile game, titled The Sleeping Prince. There are currently no details available on the new game it is developing.

The partnership is set to help GungHo increase its reach further in the West as part of its new global strategy towards game development. It will also provide Signal Studios with additional resources to help develop the game.

Creative and passionate

"Our partnership with Signal Studios will add immense value to our company’s lineup of diverse and engaging experiences," said Jun Iwasaki, CEO and President of GungHo Entertainment America.

"Signal is among the most creative and passionate studios in the videogames industry and we look forward to collaborating with them."

GungHo's sales have fallen fairly consistently over the last couple of years due to the continued decline of its flagship game Puzzle & Dragons. It is hoping that focusing its attention away from just one high-performing game will help to boost its overall sales.
