Vainglory developer Super Evil Megacorp has signed on for a strategic partnership with tech firm Razer to advance mobile eSports.

The partnership will mostly consist of Razer sponsoring various eSports events and tournaments for Vainglory. It will kick off with Razer sponsoring a competitive event at the Microsoft Store in New York, and being title sponsor of the Vainglory World Championship 2017.

The companies have already worked together on events, with Vainglory making an appearance at the launch of Razer's new Razer Phone. The game also found its way to Razer’s booth at DreamHack Winter 2017.

Come together

"Super Evil Megacorp and Razer share the same fundamental belief, that gamers are gamers no matter the device they play on, and deserve the best experience that technology has to offer," said Kristian Segerstrale, CEO of Super Evil Megacorp.

"We're honored to partner with Razer at a very exciting time, to further advance our mission to bring the best gaming experience possible on mobile devices."

Super Evil Megacorp has also partnered with Samsung to add mouse and keyboard functionality to Vainglory through the tech firm's DeX platform. It allows users of certain Samsung phones to stream their apps and games onto a PC.
