Bury me, my Love scoops top prize at the second Google Play Indie Games in Europe

The Pixel Hunt and Fig's narrative-led game Bury me, my Love has won the second Google Play Indie Games Contest in Europe.

The winners were announced at an event at the Saatchi Gallery in London on February 13th 2018. 20 developers attended with their games, which were voted on by attendees for their top ten favourites, before a jury selected their top three.

Bury me, my Love took the top prize, with Broken Rules Interactive's Old Man's Journey taking second. Bart Bonte took home third prize for his game Yellow.

Big money prizes

All three games won €50,000 in vouchers from Bidalgo to use for digital marketing campaigns and €25,000 for a social media campaign with Chartboost. The overall winners won additional vouchers, doubling the spend they have on advertising.

The second Google Play Indie Games Contest in Europe opened for submissions back in December 2017. A third edition will no doubt be held at a similar time in 2019.
