Mobile esports platform RewardMob opens new European office

Canada-based mobile games rewards start-up RewardMob has opened a new office in Prague, Czech Republic.

The move is aimed at expanding the company’s tech operations in Europe and providing a closer link to developers in the region.

The branch is headed up by former Cashplay MD Thomas Newman, while ex-Cashplay head of customer support and QA Andrei Gardea will act as director of operations.

Play for crypto

"I am looking forward to overseeing the growth of the office and visibility of RewardMob in the region not only with mobile games developers but also with key partners and tournament sponsors,” said Newman.

"RewardMob’s ability to operate on both Google Play and the App Store now presents game developers with a fully optimised mobile esports solution and users the ability to play for free and win real-money, prizes and cryptocurrency."

RewardMob recently partnered with the Waves blockchain platform to securely manage its RMOB loyalty tokens - prizes for players competing in in-game tournaments.

It has also partnered with Indian publisher BigCode Games to integrate its platform into the company's mobile titles.
