Nood Climbrs grasps first place at the Big Indie Pitch at the White Nights conference in Prague

FINIFUGU && friends made history at the Big Indie pitch at the White Nights conference in Prague by becoming the first developer to claim back-to-back wins.

The Big Indie Pitch is a regular event run by the makers of PocketGamer.biz. It gives indie developers the chance to pitch their games to industry experts and journalists in a speed-dating-styled format.

Teams get the opportunity to get valuable feedback on their games, as well as win great prizes such as promotional packages and, more importantly, the coveted Big Indie Pitch bat.

Nood Climbrs

FINIFUGU && friends was at it again at the Big Indie Pitch with the hilarious and superbly crafted Nood Climbrs for mobile devices. The endless, physics-based climbing game has players controlling the arms and legs of a nude climber in which they must contort their body to get as high as they can.

The win follows comes after the previous Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2018, in which FINIFUGU && friends also took top spot for another title, team-based restaurant cooking game Too Many Cooks.

Candy Patrol

In second place was Orbital Knights’ Candy Patrol. Users must keep their lollipops safe and shoot any monster trying to steal them by slinging projectiles at the game’s many foes.

In third place was Airapport’s Steampunk Idle Spinner, a fascinating idle game that manages to turn its complex contraptions into simple and satisfying gameplay.
