Fortnite Battle Royale launches on Nintendo Switch today

Fortnite Battle Royale is set to hit the Nintendo Switch eShop today at 10am PT.

Epic Games’ hit title was revealed for Switch during Nintendo Direct at E3 2018 and will be available for free, much like on PC and mobile.

On the bus

Speculation had been mounting in the weeks leading up to the E3 event after the game appeared on the Korean Games Rating Board’s website.

A hacker also discovered code inside an eShop update more recently that included a text mention of the game along with its Switch home front icon.

The title has been a massive hit across all platforms including mobile.

A Switch release could yet again propel the title's revenues beyond $300 million, having recently racked up $296 million in just a single month, according to SuperData.
