MAG Interactive’s Paint Hit makes a splash with one million downloads in one day

Mobile developer MAG Interactive's casual game Paint Hit passed the one million downloads mark.

The painting styled shooter took just one day to achieve the feat after it launched on the App Store and Google Play.

It is also currently sitting in the number one spot on the Google Play casual games chart in the US.

Gameplay in Paint Hit focuses on players trying to shoot paintballs at colour spinning towers over hundreds of increasingly challenging levels. With each paintball throw colouring a part of the tower, it becomes increasingly difficult to hit uncoloured portions with the next attempt.

Paint ‘em up

“We are known for our strong presence in the word and trivia games categories, but the successful launch of Paint Hit proves that we were on to a really interesting concept within the hyper-casual games market,” says MAG Interactive CEO Daniel Hasselberg.

“We are blown away by the results after the launch and can’t wait to see how far Paint Hit will go.”

MAG interactive has also enjoyed some recent success with Word Domination, which reached the top 10 in the word games chart in 116 different countries on iOS.

According to MAG Interactive, it has also hosted three million matches since its May 31st launch and has seen over 100,000 hours being played every day across iOS and Android.
