Apple launches tutorial site to help budding iOS app developers
The barriers to becoming a game developer are as low as they've ever been, with smartphone gaming breeding a new generation of bedroom programmers and indie startups.

Apple's looking to grease the wheels, providing a bit more help for newcomer developers on iOS, setting up a new web page with all the details needed to start developing apps.

App Store for Dummies

The website provides articles covering a wide range of fundamentals and techniques, from the basics of setting up and a description of tools to use, while also moving on to fundamental skills such as Language, Frameworks and how to work with the App Store.

"Creating iOS apps is fun and rewarding, and if you're a new developer you might be wondering where to begin," reads the site introduction.

"This road map provides the perfect starting point for iOS app development."
