Beachfront releases Beachfront.iO, its nextgen mobile ad platform

Control for advertisers, cash for developers

Beachfront releases Beachfront.iO, its nextgen mobile ad platform
Video adverts are the hottest thing in mobile at the moment.

Small wonder then that the self-styled 'video everywhere company' Beachfront Media is looking to support developers.

It's just rolled out its Beachfront.iO mobile video advertising and app monetisation platform.

Built using the Google-developed Go programming language, it's been designed from the ground-up to serve video ads, including interstitials and pre-roll, across iOS, Android, Kindle, mobile web and connected TV devices - with fast load times.

Beachfront claims it's able to optimise at a sub-millisecond response time and deliver a well-targeted video ad, either via a user's platform or even by zip code.

Lights, camera...

Of course, the mobile video advertising business requires advertisers as well as content providers so Beachfront.iO provides real-time analytics on the performance of video ads for advertisers so they can control their campaigns.

The platform's mediation layer also enables developers to source ads from many sources, including but not limited to Beachfront.

In this way, it says it will provide high eCPMs.

"As a video everywhere company, we recognise the importance of video advertising as a means of revenue for mobile app developers," said CEO Frank Sinton.

"The release of Beachfront iO provides a modern platform that allows developers to place and manage video advertising inside their applications easily while also providing a window into the effectiveness of those ads."
