Gis a job: GameDuell kicks off mobile push with 130 new jobs
In amongst talks of a continued global financial slowdown and job losses left, right and centre, social gaming community GameDuell has unveiled a new recruitment drive for 2013.

The Berlin-based company claims its plans to "expand in the fields of social and mobile games" will require nee talent, with "attractive jobs to experienced professionals, especially in the fields of technology, development, product management and graphics" on the agenda.

In short, the now ten year old company is looking to make some real noise in the mobile social arena.

Top positions at the firm include the role of senior game developer/games architect for HTML5, Flash, iOS and Android, senior mobile developer for HTML5, iOS and Android, senior mobile web designer and head of social and mobile games.

"We plan to expand our activities and offers in the area of mobile and social games significantly this year," added CEO Kai Bolik.

"We will accompany this expansion by building out our public relations efforts targeted at professionals who really want to make a difference in the world of games."

This renewed focus on public relations activities is crucial, the company claims, and will be designed to help "brand perception and the external image as an employer of choice in the European web and games industry". As a result, Axel Schmidt has been appointed as the firm's new senior PR manager.
