Up to 15,000 euros on offer per studio

GameFounders unveils Europe's 'first gaming start up accelerator'
From projects that have just got off the ground through to those that already boast users aplenty, gaming start up accelerator GameFounders is looking to get behind its first round of studios.

The company claims between €10,100 and €15,000 will be on offer for an initial batch of up to 10 start ups, each also being afforded office space in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn.

On the development train

Developers will also benefit from what's billed as a "tailor made training program" as well as mentoring from more than 60 "high quality mentors from all over the globe - mainly from the US and Finland."

"The GameFounders team is composed of serial entrepreneurs, with experience of running a game studio and investing in games," the firm said in a statement.

"No matter whether the developer has already tons of users but struggles with monetisation or is just finishing development of their first game - they are still welcome to apply for GameFounders first round program that runs from the end of August until November."

Date for your diary

GameFounders claims to have the backing of one of the region's strongest accelerators – Helsinki-based Startup Sauna – as well as gaming accelerator GameDojos in San Francisco.

Developers interesting in applying to join the first round should visit GameFounders website and apply before 10 July.
