In addition to the new office, PapayaMobile announced two key executive appointments for its UK-based team: Rob Kelly as director of business development and Chu Wei as technical account Manager.

Chu Wei helped build PapayaMobile's download exchange network for Android games AppFlood out of the firm's Beijing HQ, while Rob Kelly - previously with the Mojiva advertising network - has over 10 years of experience in digital advertising.

London Calling

PapayaMobile will be in good company in London's Silicon Roundabout, as Chinese social game developer Rekoo announced its intentions to open a Tech City office back in October.

Speaking on the opening of a London office, PapayaMobile's Chris Hanage - GM for Europe - indicated that the months ahead are likely to be busy ones for PapayaMobile's western AppFlood ambitions.

"2014 is set to be a busy year for our AppFlood business, so it’s important that our UK operations can scale to meet the demand we're seeing, both now and in the future," said Hanage of the news.

AppFlood was launched back in 2012 and doesn't require developers to sign up to Papaya's other products.
