Innovative new Facebook MMORPG Sacred Seasons could get an iPhone spin-off in the future, according to its developer Emerald City Games.
The game is currently in beta on Facebook, and although it's only just been launched it already has more than 2,500 active users.
Emerald City's Derek Day tells PocketGamer.biz that the company considers it to be the first "true" MMORPG on Facebook, with all the lush graphics and monster-battling action that entails.
However, it seems that the game could be getting an iPhone spin-off once it establishes itself online, with Day saying that Apple's handset is very much on Emerald City's agenda.
The theory of finding an audience on Facebook then transferring that success to iPhone and other mobile devices has been much talked about, but little practised so far.
Zynga has launched an iPhone version of its Live Poker game that lets people play against Facebook users, however, while SGN has released an iPhone spin-off of its fluff(friends) Facebook app.
