Following 300% mobile growth in 2012, SponsorPay rolls out new monetisation products
US/German online monetisation outfit SponsorPay is now better described as an online and mobile monetisation specialist.

Having experienced 300 percent growth in the mobile side of its business since January 2012 - especially Android - it's pushing on with new products, as well as opening its third US office, in Los Angeles.

Key to success

It's recently released its Unlock product, which enables users to gain direct access to digital goods and paid content - for example converting from a free to a paid app - by completing advertising offers.

SponsorPay says the process is made more straightforward because it doesn't involve accumulating virtual currency.

One developer who's happy with the results following integration of the product is Stickman BMX Stunts developer Ace Viral.

"SponsorPay's Unlock product has led to a significant increase in both user engagement and revenues," said CEO Shazad Mohammed.

Widen the load

Another way SponsorPay is improving monetising for its partners is extending offerwalls for tablets, particularly iPad and Kindle Fire.

"Tablets are quickly becoming a significant app and game platform and SponsorPay has consistently provided industry-beating results," said Victor Rubba, CEO of Office Jerk developer Fluik.

SponsorPay's other business options include app install and engagement campaigns, video ads and mobile cost-per-action offers.
