A development supergroup coalesces

Mork, Foe, Deibler and Trento combine to create Unspoken Tales

When it comes collecting a suit of previous employers for the management group for a new mobile developer, you'd have to go a long way to raise a better hand than Google, Nokia, Kixeye and Activision.

That's the starting position for new US outfit Unspoken Tales.

Leading the charge is CEO Patrick Mork, who following stints at i-Play and Glu Mobile, accelerated GetJar as an Android app store, before getting beamed up to transform Android Market into Google Play.

All for one

He's backed by chief creative officer Alessandro Tento, who was previously the veep of art development for Activision, working on the likes of Call of Duty, Guitar Hero and Skylanders, while CTO Danielle Deibler led engineering and operations at Kixeye.

Sega, Nokia (Reset Generation, Pathway to Glory) and Big Head Mode veteran Scott Foe will be Unspoken Tales' chief product officer.

As for what the group are planning, their baseline is listed as 'the development, distribution and commercialization of intellectual property for mobile devices', specifically action RPGs on tablets.

Its first release is pencilled in for late 2014; something that will be revealed alongside the involvement of top franchise game designer, who for legal reasons is currently hiding in the shadows.
