It's almost the holidays, but 2013 is looking like it will get underway quickly.

And what better way to kick it off than the self-styled 'only international event in Eastern Europe devoted exclusively to mobile game marketing and development'.

That's the Winter Nights conference in St Petersburg, which follows on from last year's successful White Nights event in June.

Sweet talkin'

Granted things will be cooler in February, but the conference schedule is already filling up fast.

Hot speakers including PlayFirst CEO Marco DeMiroz, Chillingo's Ed Rumley, Big Fish's Chris Williams, Ville Heijari from Rovio, Michael Schade from Fishlabs plus speakers from Supercell and Wooga.

Oh, and some bloke from Pocket Gamer is talking about '9 tricks to ensure your mobile game gets the best PR'. Sounds familiar...

Neatly, the conference operates in a novel fashion, running across the afternoons and evenings of Friday 8 - Saturday 9 February (2.30pm to 9pm).
