Samsung announces VR headset, Korea disables Facebook gaming, and the making of Modern Combat 5: Blackout

The future of VR and wearables remains uncertain, with the industry divided on whether such tech is the future of gaming, or simply a fad that will fade into obscurity.

In reality though, it doesn't really matter what we think, because it seems more and more companies just can't wait to jump on the VR bandwagon - which is exactly what Samsung did this week.

The South Korean firm stole headlines by lifting the lid on its Note-4 powered Gear VR headset, a piece of tech that has already recieved an impressive amount of developer support.

UK-based developer nDreams revealed plans to support the hardware with multiple VR titles, while imangi's Temple Run VR  and ustwo's recently announced Lands End  will also be making their VR debuts.

Of course, there's a whole world of news out there, so make sure you don't miss by tucking into our gormet Week That Was.  Go on, grab a fork.
