The digital games market in Latin America is growing at an annual rate of 16 percent, with the prediction it will be worth $4.5 billion in 2014.

Indeed the 'growing appetite' in Mexico, Argentina and Chile could push 2015's total up to $5.3 billion.

Hot to trot

According to the numbers – published by Super Data Research – the average lifetime value of a Latin American gamer is already around $90.

"The games market in Latin America is red hot, as both local and international publishers are stepping up their game to get a foot on the ground," detailed Super Data Research.
