The world may still be in lockdown to various degrees, but the business of blockchain and games doesn’t stop. And as new opportunities and challenges spring up, the need to connect has arguably never been greater.Blockchain Gamer LIVE! Digital is a brand-new, week-long online event to satisfy that need and will run alongside Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki Digital. It combines the spirit of the existing Blockchain Gamer LIVE! events that have run in Hong Kong, London and elsewhere with the latest cutting edge digital communication platforms.

The conference will bring together all the leading voices in the blockchain games business from around the world, together with a number of developers, publishers, investors and other players who are outside looking in (so far!).

We’ll have over 60 expert speakers sharing their insight, tips and opinion across sixdedicated content tracks and assorted round-tables, covering everything from the latest evolving trends and an introduction to the blockchain basics, through to fund-raising, ETFs, game design and more. We’ll also offer a free match-making meeting system that syncs with video conferencing, a live chat forum, a couple of dedicated fringe events (where you can meet investors and publishers!) and a digital expo space – among other things.

The show will be a 24-hour, five-day event based around a central meeting hub and talks, enabling delegates to set their own schedules. Streamed talks will be broadcast to suit various time zones and also made available to download at your own pace.

The theme of this first Blockchain Gamer LIVE! Digital? Show Me The Money! As investors go on the defensive and projects are delayed, what’s the best strategy for surviving, thriving and raising cash in the blockchain space? While we’ll cover a ton of subjects at the event, our over-arching theme will be how to raise and make money.

Expert Insight
As one of an expected 1500+ delegates, you will have access to an innovative online platform for five days in September.

You'll select from a programme of ground-breaking live video content, full of insight and practical advice across six themed conference tracks. You can watch the tracks live or catch up on the recorded videos within your own time, and if you're online while the speakers are performing you'll be able to interact live with them and the other viewers with questions and comments. Our speakers will dive into trends, funding, and visions for the future. We’ll make it easy for beginners to the scene to get on board, then go beyond the current gaming climate to look at what’s happening in the wider blockchain ecosystem .

We'll unveil the speakers and schedule progressively on the official site (https://www.blockchaingamer.live/) and through our media channels. Rest assured you can expect inspiring talks from over 60 speakers who will educate and inspire through an agenda of themed tracks.

The event is called Connects because that’s what we help you do; connect with the whole gaming industry, from students and indie studios to the media, international investors and publishers. No other events put you in touch with the entire mobile gaming industry like our conferences, and this remains true of Blockchain Gamer LIVE! Digital.

Established International Audience
More than 26,000 industry professionals have attended the Pocket Gamer Connects international conference series since 2014. Since then, the roadshow has landed in the UK, Canada, USA, Finland, Hong Kong, Jordan and India with a genuinely international client base; on average, delegates from more than 45 countries attend each event. With the advent of the Digital conference in April, this number grew to over 60 countries!

In 2016, PG Connects became the biggest dedicated mobile games industry conference series in Europe and have stayed on top ever since. Every event has been bigger and better than the last, and since 2017 we’ve added VR/AR, PC, console and blockchain to the mix. Blockchain Gamer LIVE! was a massive success in Hong Kong last year, and we look forward to welcoming many of our 2019 attendees to our 2020 digital experience.

Previous speakers and delegates from all the key blockchain players include Robby Yung of Animoca Brands, Sebastien Borget of Pixowl, Manon Burgel of Blockchain Game Alliance, Tony Pearce of Reality Clash, Gabby Dizon of Alto.io, Alex Atallah of OpenSea, Marguerite de Courcelle of Blockade Games, Kokushi Hattori of Double Jump.Tokyo, Philip Rosedale of Second Life/High Fidelity and loads more.

And because Steel Media owns and operates the leading media in this space too, including BlockchainGamer.biz, PocketGamer.biz and PCGamesInsider.biz, our events benefit from unrivalled press coverage.
