Toronto Games Week 2026, running 11–17 June 2026, is a city‑wide celebration of videogame arts, culture, and play. Instead of a single conference, TGW is a coordinated constellation of independently organised events hosted by dozens of studios, curators, community groups, and cultural organisations across Toronto. Attendees can explore everything from pop‑up arcades and outdoor game installations to workshops, talks, scavenger hunts, and experimental play spaces—each offering a different lens on how games shape creativity, community, and urban culture.

The week embraces Toronto’s playful spirit with hands‑on activities, open‑source tool workshops, femme‑led speedrunning events, DIY game‑making sessions, and unique experiences like forest arcades, waterfront projections, and park‑based play gatherings. TGW’s open, community‑driven format encourages anyone—from developers to artists to families—to participate, host events, or simply explore the city through games. It’s a vibrant, inclusive celebration designed to showcase Toronto as one of the world’s most imaginative hubs for game culture.

TGW isn’t run by a single company or institution. Instead, it’s a city‑wide collaborative festival, where dozens of independent groups host their own events under the TGW umbrella. The coordination team (Marie LeBlanc Flanagan and Jim Munroe) manages the overall framework, communications, and community support, while each event is produced by its own organiser.
