San Francisco-based publisher KneoWorld, the firm behind a number of game-based learning solutions, has received over $6 million in funding.

The cash has been raised through Entellect Limited, KneoWorld's Australian parent company, and will be used to localise and build out the developer's mobile games library, notably in Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Kneoworld Arcade is currently available with 30 games via its iOS and Android app - priced at $4.99 - and 70 available on the web.

Child's play

“It's been a long journey, from the initial launch announcement to today's exciting news, but we’ve been hard at work crafting each level and mini game with forethought, care and precision,” said KneoWorld COO, Marti Miernik,

“We have created an immersive and enjoyable experience for fans of puzzles and brain teasers. You deserve the best, and now it's time to reward you with some brain scratching fun.”
