What are the PG Mobile Games Awards?

The PG Mobile Games Awards, run by Steel Media's PocketGamer.biz, are a prestigious awards established to celebrate the very best businesses, teams, and individuals who are driving the $90 billion mobile games industry forward.

Since their inception in 2018, the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards have asked the industry to champion the talent and achievements of their favourite developers, publishers, tools and service providers, investors, marketing teams, games… any company that makes the making of mobile games possible, essentially. We also pay homage to true industry legends who have made their mark on this glorious industry.

We are again opening up the voting phase to the industry beyond our traditional panel of selected judges. We consider it one way of ensuring the entire process is more inclusive and representative with regards to who and what really stood out over the past 12 months.

The Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2025 sit-down ceremony this year takes place on August 19th at Gürzenich Köln in Cologne, right at the start of Gamescom.
