Sporty Group opens new games studio in the UK led by Jon Hare

Entertainment company Sporty Group has launched a new UK-based games development studio as part of its Sporty Games division.

The team is led by industry veteran Jon Hare and follows Sporty Group’s acquisition of Tower Studios in April 2024.

Hare will focus on game design and product management and will be joined by 17 developers who previously worked on the Sociable Soccer franchise. 

Sporty Group's new studio is currently developing a free-to-play soccer game set to launch later this year.

Creating universal appeal
