Capcom (TYO:9697) has released its financials for its Q3 FY17 for the nine months ending December 31st 2016.
It posted sales of $472.4 million for the nine months, down 6.2% year-on-year. It also saw profits down year-on-year by 60.6% to $24.4 million.
In its Digital Contents segment, which includes its mobile games, its net sales were $250.9 million, down 21.2% year-on-year.

Capcom neither broke out mobile numbers, nor dedicated much time to the platform. It stated that Toraware no Paruma was the top paid game in Japan on its day of release, something it said in its last financial release.
Instead, the company talked up its entry into the "year one" of VR, which consisted solely of its PSVR compatibility in console title Resident Evil 7.
It also touched on its efforts to diversify further into cross-media products, with an animated series based on its Monster Hunter games and the last of its Resident Evil live-action films released in 2016.
