AIAS reveals Interactive Achievement Awards nominees

Three mobile games are up for a gong in the prestigious 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, which take place next month in Las Vegas.
The awards are run by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, and are voted for by industry figures rather than consumers.
The Cellular Game of the Year category will be contested by Nokia's Reset Generation, EA Mobile's Spore Origins, and Demiforce's Trism.
Meanwhile, the Handheld category features Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (Nintendo), Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (Konami), God of War: Chains of Olympus (Sony), Patapon (Sony), and Professor Layton and the Curious Village (Nintendo).
"The depth of talent and creativity in this industry continues to amaze me," says AIAS president Joseph Olin. "The 2009 nominees indeed reflect a stronghold of talent embodying the best and brightest in this field."
