Ever since the G1 theres been a constant stream of new Android-powered device announcements, though none have actually emerged yet.
Samsung has spoken out to reassure its customers that three Android handsets will be released this year, however, after announcing last year that it had put together an in-house team of experts to begin work on touchscreen-powered devices.

And with manufacturing giants like Samsung and Archos taking genuine interest in the operating system, interest is expected to rise as the platform gives the like of Windows Mobile a serious run for its money.
