Though it wouldn't appear to be a pandemic by any means, a number of developers using Android Market are alleging they're not receiving all the money they should be from the sale of their apps.

Said studios have used the Android Market support forum to claim the money they've been paid simply doesn't tally with the number of sales registered.

One studio even stated he'd been paid for less than half of the orders his app had received.

No pay-pal

The issue appears to revolve around purchases made via Android Market's web store, rather than those made on the devices themselves.

However, Google's response has been less than prompt, with the firm claiming it is "aware of the issue" and is "working on fixing it".

Said fix means those who missed out on July payouts will be notified, but won't receiving the missing money until the payout on September 1.

"Once the fix goes out (soon!), orders should be moved to the correct state, which will enable disbursement amounts to be recovered," the firms response read.

The fix doesn't have a fixed release date as of yet, but the company claims all those studios who register a complaint will have their issues dealt with.
