Further expanding its footprint, UK firm Antix has signed two deals to take its multiplatform mobile and web Game Player to the Indonesian market.

The two partnerships signed with carriers Telkomsel and MLW Telecom will see Antix's Game Player roll out across the region for the first time.

Playing the game

Game Player is billed as a 'universal game platform', with the distribution tech allowing games to be shared from set top boxes to mobiles and PCs, delivering an 'on-the-go gaming experience'.

The firm claims Telkomsel and MLW Telecom customers will now be able to play the same games with friends and family "irrespective of whether they share the same model of device or not."

"Antix is unique in providing a seamless high quality game service across fragmented phones, tablets, TVs and other home products in a manner that meets the expectations of consumers whilst simultaneously protecting the rights and the revenues of the publishers and developers," added Antix chief executive Francis Charig.

"Indonesia has one of the world's most dynamic economies and we’re excited to be involved with Telkom, the largest telecommunications services company in the country with more than 100 million subscribers."

The announcement follows deals to bring Antix's Game Player tech to MStar's connected TV platform and Green Button, amongst others.
