Seamless gaming platform Antix Labs continues to sign up hardware partners to its mobile/tablet-to-PC-and-smart-TV Antix Game Player.

The latest to make a mark on the dotted line is UK-based Turbosat, which sells set-top-boxes under the Icecrypt brands, amongst others.

It will add Antix Game Player and its associated Game Service into its new range, starting with the Icecrypt T2300, which launches across the UK in Tesco stores in this week.

Antix-enabled Turbosat boxes will also be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Problem solved

"The games launched and the content roadmap for the next year are compelling," said Turbosat CEO Tomas Lo.

"Also, the ease with which consumers can download, install and pay for their services, and the ability to share their games across other devices such as phones and tablets means Antix is successfully addressing the problems that consumers have been facing playing games on their set-top-box or on television."

Antix's Game Service has now been integrated with smart TV and set-top-boxes from Broadcom, MStar, Vestel, and Haier, while PopCap recently launched a free-to-play version of Plants vs. Zombies in Indonesia on SpeedUp's tablets.
