App Annie acquires former Glu man Nicolas Beraudo

Former VP of business development at Glu Nicolas Beraudo has been named as App Annie's new VP of sales worldwide two months after he left the publisher.
Beraudo, who will also serve as general manager for the US, has more than 17 years of experience in sales, licensing and business development, with App Annie claiming he will "drive the strategic vision" worldwide moving forward.
Big on Beraudo
"My experience driving global sales for leading publishers has taught me that data matters, and App Annie is the clear choice when it comes to quality market data to help develop strategic app portfolios that are built to increase ROI," said Beraudo of his appointment.
"I'm excited to be part of App Annie's momentum and strategic vision and look forward to propelling these essential services for mobile developers and publishers both in the US and abroad."
Analytics specialist App Annie claimed to be utilised within apps from 60 percent of the top 100 App Store publishers back in January, behind 75,000 apps in all.
The company claims Beraudo will further extend its efforts to "deliver the data and analysis developers and publishers need to monetise their businesses", with App Annie's "rapid growth" in the US also falling under his remit.
