Apple Design Awards 2009 now open

Applications are now being accepted for Apples 2009 Design Awards, which recognises new standards in usability, performance, technology integration and adoption for iPhone (and Mac) applications.
The awards will be presented to up to four winners whove designed applications using the current 2.2.1 iPhone SDK, one app built using the new 3.0 software and one award reserved for a student developer (also using the 2.2.1 SDK).
The winners will be announced at this years Worldwide Developers Conference, though the deadline for applications is set to May 4th (also known as Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you... okay, never mind)).
Winners will receive two 15-inch MacBook Pros (best configuration), two 30-inch Apple Cinema Displays, two 16GB iPhone 3Gs, two 16GB iPod touch, an ADC 2009 Premier Membership, and reimbursement of their WWDC 2009 E-ticket, so get your entries in now.
