Apple Game Center set to dominate OpenFeint's developer meet up

It's been over a month since Apple announced Game Center its forthcoming social game network but consensus over its impact remains muddled.
Initial reaction from all the major players OpenFeint, Plus+, Scoreloop and Crystal was surprisingly positive, with OpenFeint CEO Jason Citron going as far as to claim he was "delighted" with Game Center and that OpenFeint would sit happily on top of Apple's network.
It's a subject Citron will be further expounding about at the company's forthcoming developer meet up.

Taking place in Burlingame, California, on Tuesday May 18, the meet up is being pitched as an opportunity for developers to take a good look at what's been going on at OpenFeint, with Citron set to give a presentation entitled 'Game Center: How it Will Impact Gaming on iDevices', as well as answering any questions that follow.
"Our goal is to cultivate a community of mobile developers who are looking to make their games more engaging for their players, find new revenue streams, and who want to share industry knowledge and best practices with one another," the firm says of the meet up.
