Apple now allowing nudity on the iPhone

In many respects, it's a moot point that Apple wouldn't allow nudity directly through the App Store, since the fact that the iPhone has a built-in internet browser means you could go online and download all the mobile porn you want.
But thanks to the new parental controls, Apple now apparently feels more comfortable passing mature content for App Store distribution - something a great many iPhone users have been crying out for (not just porn, but more adult themed games and content).
An update to an existing iPhone application, Hottest Girls, proves Apple has relaxed its prudish attitude, as the app now features nudity, as well as scantily clad women.
Whether or not porn is what you're looking for on the iPhone, it's certainly good news that evidence is now present that proves the App Store is open to a greater range of possibilities, and should help game developers immensely when it comes creating the games people want to play.
There's also an opportunity for Apple to make some serious money, too. Given that 30 per cent of any porn profits will be going straight to Apple, this could be a very lucrative new avenue should a bit more skin start to appear on our devices.
