Apple faces problems with underage iPhone porn

It's been an interesting development, seeing as how the new 3.0 parental controls cause a shift in App Store approvals, but the way things are going Apple is likely to remain as strict as ever.
The BeautyMeter application allows people to upload pictures of themselves (whether they are taken by the account holder is anyone's guess) for users to rate their photos on three criteria: Face, clothes and body.
It might be a little sad, but that's essentially not an abuse of the iPhone. Unfortunately, the developer doesn't vet every post made, and several have appeared with girls listing themselves as being under 18, yet still in various stages of undress.
Apple's pretty on-the-ball with such problems, as it demonstrated with the HottestGirls app, but the tragedy is the effect it could have on the extra gaming potential the parental controls offered.
Should the problems force Apple to return to its strict approvals policy, those mature games the iPhone community has been crying out for may never appear.
