Best Buy selling used iPhones in the US

US retail chain Best Buy has announced that it's selling refurbished 3G iPhones in its stores, costing $50 less than new models.
That means people pay $149 for an 8GB model or $249 for the 16GB model, although in both cases they have to sign up to a two-year contract with operator AT&T Wireless.
"This is focusing on customers' needs, trying to provide as wide a range of products and networks for our consumers," says Scott Moore, VP of marketing for Best Buy Mobile.
The move could inject a fresh batch of consumers into the iPhone gaming ecosystem, following the recent news that rival chain Wal-Mart is now also selling (new) 3G iPhones in its stores.
It's all good news for games publishers, who see iPhone as one of their key revenue drivers in 2009.
