BlackBerry PlayBook ups its game with Jetpack Joyride, Sonic 4, Lara Croft and Galaxy on Fire 2

As RIM looks to up the BlackBerry PlayBook's standing in the tablet market, so news big games are headed the device's way will lift the atmosphere ahead of BlackBerry World 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
A whole host of titles have just been confirmed for the tablett, claims The Verge, with one of Halfbrick's big IP leading the line.
It's reported the Australian studio will add to its existing PlayBook library - which includes Fruit Ninja, Flick Kick Football and Monster Dash - with the launch of Jetpack Joyride.

But that's just one in a bevy of games headed PlayBook's way.
Sega will shortly release Sonic The Hedgehog: Episode 1 on RIM's tablet no word on if Episode 2 is also BlackBerry bound while Fishlabs has also demonstrated Galaxy on Fire 2 running on PlayBook.
Finally, Square Enix has now launched Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on the device for $3.99, with more games PlayBook bound likely to be revealed when BlackBerry World 2012 kicks off later today.
Crucially, all the aforementioned titles should also hit forthcoming BlackBerry 10 devices either at or post launch.
