Automakers are among the keenest brands when it comes to mobile advertising, according to a report on MocoNews.
Although based on the decision of Nissan and Infiniti to launch mobile internet sites to show off new models, the article also quotes a senior Yahoo exec, Michael Bayle, as saying the automotive industry is hot for mobile ads.
"Companies, like Jaguar, have been on record saying that 10 per cent of their digital budget is in mobile and its only increasing between 2008 and 2009," he says.
This, presumably, is the reason behind three iPhone advergames (so far) based around car firms.
Fishlabs announced last week that it's making a game based on Volkswagen's new Polo, while BMW has signed a similar deal with Artificial Life.
