Chillingo lines up 4 titles for move on Mac App Store

It's no secret that Chillingo has had its fair share of hits on the App Store for iOS - Angry Birds and Cut the Rope its most notable smashes.
As such, it should be no surprise that it's now looking to enjoy the same level of success on the recently launched Mac App Store.
First up for the publisher are Sword of Fargoal Legends and Secret Agents! - both franchises that have already appeared on iPhone and iPad with two other releases, Cogs and iBomber Defense, due to launch in the coming months.
The Chillingo charge
It's a positive sign for the marketplace, which launched back in January to day one downloads that topped 1 million.
Apple is undoubtedly looking to bring existing App Store advocates on board, and it's true to say that they don't get much bigger than Chillingo.
"Partnering with the industry's most talented indie developers to bring their innovative ideas to market is what we do best," said Chillingo general manager Joe Wee.
"The Mac App Store brings new opportunities to introduce even more consumers to the unique, fun, and addictive games we bring to market."
A sign of the intended symmetry between Chillingo's respective strategies for both marketplaces, the publisher has revealed Secret Agents! will allow players to compete against each other over wireless LAN via any combination of Macs, iPhones, or iPads.
