Club Soko by Miracle Tea took first place at the Very Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2025.
The Very Big Indie Pitch was back in full force at Pocket Gamer Connects London! This was one of the many fringe events that took place during the conference. There were over 2,600 registrations from 66 countries across six continents, making this year's event even bigger than the last. Pocket Gamer Connects London was full of a lot of excitement and vibrance, especially when it came to this year's pitch.

If you aren't familiar with event, it's a speed-dating-style format pitch that challenges indie developers to quick-fire pitch their game to our panel of expert judges from all corners of the gaming industry.
Teams who pitch gain valuable feedback on their games and pitching style, as well as experience in pitching quickly to a bunch of industry experts. Winners also receive prizes like promotional packages and the golden Big Indie Pitch baseball bat.

For this pitch, we saw 20 indie developers come together to pitch their mobile games, showcasing them to our judges. There were puzzle games, story-based games, party games; literally something for everyone.
With so many fantastic entries, our judges worked hard to debate it out and come up with their top three games of The Very Big Indie Pitch Mobile Edition, and here they are:
First Place
Club Soko by Miracle Tea
(iOS, Android, PC)
Club Soko is a sokoban-style puzzle game where you play as a character who wants to get deeper and deeper within a mysterious night club. This game was originally created for the Crazy Games Jam, where it received a lot of positive feedback, so developers Miracle Tea decided to continue working on it. Our judges felt the game's art style was very unique and the team pitched extremely well. "It really felt like the heart of Indie Games" was one of the quotes attached to this knock-out title.
Second Place
Secret Woods by Play Curious
(iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PC)
Secret Woods is a cozy, hidden object game that takes you through an ancient woods, full of creatures and plants. Finding different items within this forest unlocks new quests, along with information that connects them together. Secret Woods also has a journaling aspect, where you can unlock stickers at the end of levels to create your own diary of what you've found. Our judges were captivated by the graphics and felt the quality of the demo shown was fantastic.
Third Place
Talystro by Filiokus
(iOS, Android, PC)
Talystro is a roguelike deckbuilder that brings maths into the game in a fun way. There are a bunch of monsters shaped as numbers, which need to be defeated by doing math. Your final quest is to stop the evil Necrodicer from completing his forbidden ritual. Our judges found that this maths game was very engaging and fun, in a way that learning games often aren't, and were very impressed by the pitch itself.
