Embracer Group has appointed a new board of directors for the Coffee Stain Group ahead of its spin-off into a separate public company.

The board includes Jacob Jonmyren as chair, Sara Börsvik, Henrik Tjärnström, Kicki Wallje-Lund, Anton Westbergh as CEO, and Embracer co-founder Lars Wingefors.

As part of the move, Westbergh has also left the executive management team of Embracer Group to focus on Coffee Stain.

Next steps

Embracer said the new Coffee Stain board marks a key step in strengthening governance as CSG moves toward becoming a standalone publicly listed company by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, Embracer is set to be renamed as Fellowship Entertainment.

“Coffee Stain Group has thrived as part of the Embracer Group, with successful titles such as Deep Rock Galactic, Goat Simulator, Satisfactory, Teardown, Valheim and Welcome to Bloxburg," said CSG chair of the board Jacob Jonmyren.

“We now take the next step and prepare to stand on our own. We are pleased to have strengthened the board of directors with Sara Börsvik, Henrik Tjärnström and Kicki Wallje-Lund.

“The board looks forward to supporting Anton Westbergh as CEO in delivering fun and innovative gaming experiences that resonate with engaged communities worldwide."
