Consolidation for game production services as Flashman Studios buys Beefy Media

In a deal that combines two leading game service outfits, Flashman Studios has confirmed it's purchased Beefy Media.

The terms weren't revealed.

If the companies themselves aren't household names, together they have worked on titles such as the iOS versions of Scribblenauts, Zen Pinball, Smurfs Grabber, Riptide and iOS film tie-in Scream 4, as well as numerous console and PG games.

Stronger together

"This acquisition of Beefy Media will significantly strengthen our ability to support our clients throughout the entire development process, from building content to taking it to market on mobile, social, and console platforms," said Brad Young, Flashman's CEO.

Following the deal, Beefy will continue its existing relationships with the likes of Weinstein Company, MGM, Endemol and Capcom, where Beefy CEO Adam Boyes was director of product development for Capcom US before setting up his new company.
