Japanese social mobile gaming company DeNA continues to expand its Chinese business.

It's signed a deal with phone maker Huawei to highlight content from the Chinese version of its Mobage platform for Android.

This will see its games being listed on a dedicated category on Huawei's official HiSpace app store, which is preloaded onto its Android devices.

Multi-layered approach

Exploring other ways of encouraging take up of Mobage, DeNA and Huawei also plan to preload a link to HiSpace's list of Mobage games on the home screen of all Huawei smartphones in China.

Huawei shipped around seven million smartphones in China in 2011.

DeNA recently partnered with Chinese web services company Baidu to get Mobage on its Baidu Yi smartphones. It has a similar deal with Alibaba for devices using its cloud-based Aliyu OS too.
