Following the opening of registration and its super early bird rates (available until 30 April), the Develop in Brighton conference is dangling some juciy worms as it announces its first speakers.

In the Evolve day (10 July), Dewi Tanner, who worked with Masaya Matsuura (PaRappa, Vib-Ribbon) will be talking about Dissecting Myths and Identifying Opportunities for Western Developers in Japan Today.

Gavin Shields from Turbulenz will be talking about HTML5, Matmi's Jeff Coghlan will talk about the Rise of IPTV, while Stuart Dredge will give the annual version of his popular 30 Apps in 45 Minutes speech.

Big beasts

During the two main conference days (11-12 July), Jagex, Mind Candy, EA DICE and Creative Assembly will be giving big talks about big games.

Equally interesting, Microsoft takes the topic Can Linear TV Ever Be Interactive? We Say Yes!, while Sony will talk about Augmented Reality on PS Vita, and Blitz will also be discussing HTML5.

And adding a bit of performance, Split Milk's Andrew Smith will be trying to develop a game within one hour in the Indie day (12 July).
