Indiagames is one of India's top game publishers across mobile and online with an employee base of over 300, spread across offices in Mumbai, Beijing, London and Los Angeles.

Disney already owns half of the company thanks to its previous takeover of Indiagames' shareholder UTV and now it looks on the verge of a complete buy out

Indiagames is valued at around $80 to $100 million sources told the Wall Street Journal's All Things D, suggesting the price would be in the order of $50 million.

Other stakeholders in Indiagames include Adobe and Cisco Systems.

This move emphasises Disney's stance on the social gaming market, having previously announced its intention to pull back from consoles in order to focus on mobile.

Indiagames most recently released Denki's Quarrel to high acclaim.

Earlier in 2011 Disney also acquired HTML5 game specialist Rocketpack, famous for its Rocket Engine tool, designed to allow plugin-free browser-based game development.

A profile of Indiagames in the Business Standard highlighted a profit of $400,000 on revenues of $11 million for its last fiscal year.
